Bocconi University in Milan seeks to appoint a Research Assistant to contribute to a project exploring the role of elites and lobbying in Nazi Germany. The position is initially for one year (with possibility of extension) and it is an exciting opportunity to explore in detail the German Schutzstaffel (SS) records. The researcher will be working as part of Prof. Stuckler’s team at the University of Bocconi, in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment, under the supervision of Dr. Gregori Galofré-Vilà. The candidate will be in charge of the transcription of the SS records (we have digitalized a 15% of all SS records) and provide some qualitative and quantitative description of the data. The candidate do not need to reside in Milan and can work from abroad.
CONTRACT TYPE: RA position with flexible remuneration linked to competences and effort. Around 1,000 euros net for full time.
Excellent undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in history, economics, sociology or similar discipline, preferably the candidate should be close to finalize his/her M.Sc. degree; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Good working-knowledge of German and English.
