The Associação Portuguesa de História Económica e Social (APHES) is promoting, together with CIDEHUS, of the University of Évora, a Summer School in Economic and Social History, aimed at PhD and post-doctoral students in the field. The courses will be given by distinguished researchers and cover various topics of interest:
- Big issues in Economic and Social History
- Research methods in Economic and Social History
- How to prepare papers for presentation in conferences and publication in relevant journals
The School is organized by Pedro Lains (U. Lisbon), Fernanda Olival (U. Évora), Lisbeth Rodrigues (U. Lisbon) and Graça Almeida Borges (U. Évora), and will take place in Vila Viçosa, between 26th and 29th June 2019.
Candidates should send their CV plus a paper or thesis chapter with 8,000 words to firstname.lastname@example.org by 25th March 2019. Notices of acceptance will be sent on 15 April 2019.
