Call for Proposals for "Rural History Monographs" of the Sociedad de Estudios de Historia Agraria

09-05-2024 19:51

From the direction of the Rural History Monographs of the Society for Agrarian History Studies (SEHA), we are opening a call for proposals for the preparation of Monographs.

The collection "Rural History Monographs," edited by the Society for Agrarian History Studies (SEHA) in collaboration with the University of Zaragoza Press (PUZ), has been a prominent editorial initiative for nearly 20 years, holding the Quality Seal of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). With 19 monographic books published, it addresses topics related to the European and Latin American rural world from a historical perspective. This collection provides a platform for extensive and diverse research within the field of rural and agrarian history, from state-of-the-art to case studies, and accepts works in Spanish and English with an extension of approximately 200 to 250 pages.

We encourage researchers interested in publishing in this collection to submit their proposals to the collection directors following the sections outlined in the "Submission of Originals" tab of Rural History Monographs-SEHA (https://seha.info/es/PUBLICACIONES/MONOGRAFIAS/).

This call for proposals will receive submissions until July 31, 2024, and proposals will be evaluated as they arrive. Once evaluated by the collection directors (Angelo Carrara and Adrián Palacios-Mateo), the original texts will be sent to two anonymous and independent reviewers, selected by the collection directors, in accordance with the Editorial Committee.

The proposal should be submitted to: apalacios@unizar.es and angelo.carrara@gmail.com
