The editorial board of Cuadernos de Historia. Serie Economía y Sociedad has released an open call for contributions for its numbers 26 and 27 to be published in July and December 2021 respectively. 

Since 1997 Cuadernos de Historia. Serie Economía y Sociedad is published twice a year by the Research Center of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. The open journal is dedicated to promoting and disseminating original research on Argentinian and Latin American history. 

Proposals are subject to double-blind peer review and may be written in Spanish, Portuguese, or English.

Currently, the journal accepts three types of contributions:

- General call for academic articles on any topic related to the field of Latin American history.

- Thematic section or dossier proposals: dossier section in any particular area within the field of Latin American history. Proposals must be curated by a coordinator/s and include at least five original articles. Contributions are subject to peer review.

- Book reviews: open call for scholarly reviews on books published from 2019 to the present. The journal also accepts critical reviews and new approaches to classic historiographical works. 

Interested contributors may submit their manuscripts by March 31st, 2021.
