NETWORK DEDICATED TO THE HISTORY OF THE MONASTIC ECONOMY GRANTING OF RESEARCH ALLOWANCES
The Center for Advanced Study Sofia (CAS) and the Center for Governance and Culture in Europe (GCE) at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in the University of St. Gallen have established a NETWORK of scholars from Southeastern and Western Europe devoted to the history of monastic economy. The goal of the NETWORK is to nurture research in this field in a comparative perspective and in view of the longue durée relevance of the monastic tradition for economic culture.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Business History, Université Libre de Bruxelles
A Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Business History is vacant at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM) of the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles – ULB).
The postdoctoral researcher will hold the title of Kurgan-van Hentenryk Postdoctoral Fellow in Business History. The fellowship is awarded for two years’ residence and research at SBS-EM, with a possible extension of a third year. The fellowship is open to scholars who, within the last three years, have received a Ph.D. in history, economics, or a discipline related to the field of business history. Deadline: 8.2.2018
